Engineers -- Would you have done anything differently?

Hi, I'm currently trying to decide where to apply to college this fall. I'm considering either majoring in Chemical Engineering at a big state school or doing a BA in Math or CS at a small liberal arts school that I'm getting recruited at. I'm trying to keep my options open for careers either in tech and/or finance. While it's obviously tough academically, I've heard good things about engineering, like how one can start working right out of undergrad. On the other hand, I'd probably need to go to grad school after getting a BA in Math/CS. Engineers, was your degree worth it? Do you have any regrets, like not having gone down a different route? Is an engineering degree really as valuable and broad (as in it can be applied in many different fields/careers) as people make it out to be? Thanks in advance.
