Computational Engineering

Hi all, UT recently announced a new undergraduate program called Computational Engineering under the department of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics. I looked into it and it looks very valuable as a career because it is multidisciplinary (strong focus on math, physics, engineering principles, and computer algorithms, all of which I like) and serves to solve 21st century engineering problems in modern industry. Because the program was announced this year, obviously no one graduated with a BS from UT yet. I wanted to know if there was anyone with more information on it to help me decide if this is what I want to major in, as opposed to other disciplines of engineering such as Aerospace Engineering. PS sorry if this is ignorant in any way, I’m just a high school sophomore trying to find a college major.
