My kids college freshman orientation is in a month. We have been arguing over math. Yes...MATH. Someone tell me I'm right please :)) On the UTA website, under the College of Engineering, when talking about preparing with high school courses and on the subject of math, i read "additional advanced mathematics 1....and then the footnote: 1-For the College of Engineering, this must explicitly include trigonometry." My son is convinced that his AP Calculus AB class will cover this Maybe it will, I don't know. College websites drive me crazy I read one thing over here and one thing over there. I guess we will just have to wait to find out at orientation, but I bet him $100 he would have to take Trig. What do y'all think? Am I about to lose a Benjamin?
