Applying for engineering only with the Physics SAT subject test

Hello Everyone! I have been considering applying for an engineering major (Chemical engineering in particular) but have not taken any physics for the last two years of highschool. (No AP or IB classes). I understand that physics is required for engineering so is it okay if if just do the subject test in physics. Will that give a good enough indication of my ability (considering I do well). And I have also heard that for ChemE chemistry (which I have taken for IB) is slightly more important than physics so it may not be as much of a drawback. If anyone has knowledge or past experience I would be very grateful for your input. Thank you!
