Currently I attend a top 100 state university with an ABET accredited computer engineering program here, but I've had a lot of problems so I'm hoping to transfer out.
I've recently got accepted to a small state college that also offers an ABET accredited computer engineering program. However, my concern is about the downgrade.
Even though it does have accreditation, could I be put at a disadvantage because it is a smaller, less well known school? It has the sort of program I want. I like the college. I'm just worried about the future opportunity. I know that engineering is a good field to get involved with, but is it still good even when it's offered from a small state college?
But that basically brings me with my main question: Is there anything specifically I should be looking for in schools with engineering programs to make sure I know I'm making a good choice?
