Hello everyone. First I'd like to start off saying that I'm going to be an incoming freshman at UCI this Fall 2016. My current major is biological sciences... but after some thinking I'm considering switching to Chemical Engineering. I know it would be something that I'd enjoy, although I do have some questions. How far in education must a ChemE major go? Bachelors, Masters, Doctorates? Also, would it be beneficial to go up all the way to obtaining a PhD in ChemE? Where would this take me, occupation wise? One last question, is UCI a decent school for such engineering? I've done some research but can't seem to find a solid answer. Thank you in advance, from a very confused 18 year old.
