Hi all! I hope that a lot of the students on here have been receiving good news with their college hunts! I sure have! I just wanted to put together some opinions on what you guys would do if in my situation. I was accepted into 6 schools, and 2 honors programs (so far), which obviously makes the decision hard, especially when you don't really have a top choice. Here are my 3 biggest factors into the decision: 1. Money, for good reason. My EFC from the FAFSA was around 15000. 2. Location/Campus - I really like big cities, and campuses that offer stuff to do without being overwhelmingly large (like the schools with less than 15,000 undergrads). 3. Program - I would preferably attend a school that has both a good program and good Co-Op opportunities. Here are my schools, followed by financial aid info, and what I thought of the campus. University of Cincinnati Honors Program-no financial aid yet, but I live in-state - love the campus, but it's in my hometown :( Purdue University - no aid yet, but not expecting much - haven't visited yet Case Western Reserve University - got a $23,500 scholarship and a $21,000 grant - good campus, good city. Illinois Institute of Technology - got a $25,000 scholarship, waiting for full package - love the campus, and the city. The Ohio State University - no aid yet, but not expecting much although I live in state - haven't visited yet The University of Dayton Honors College - got about $24,000 in merit scholarships and $3,000 in study abroad stuffs with $4,000 for textbooks, waiting for full package - haven't visited yet Any help that anyone can give will be much much much appreciated!! Thanks! Devin :)
